| As a WW2 reenactor, but MOSTLY for my own information, what the heck is Luftwaffe 1946 about? Who are the main characters? The setting? I couldn't find anything about it on the main webpage, or the web, so I had to resort to this. I know you guys and gals out there, that know about this series, are itching to tell a noob all about it and I'm itching to listen! Thanks!

Luftwaffe: 1946 is just one chapter in the multigenerational Families of Altered Wars.
Central characters:
Wolfgang & Reimar Ritter--Wolfgang Ritter was a WW1 fighter ace for the Germans; after Hermann Goering was killed in the War, Wolfgang basically takes his place in the history that follows. Reimar is his son; he is a Luftwaffe ace and witness to much of the story.
Dora Oberlicht, Mika Oberlicht and Katerina Soyuz--Dora and Katerina are twin sisters, daughters of German nobility. One was kidnapped when their mother was murdered. Mika was "orphaned" in the same act of violence and Dora and Mika were raised as sisters by the Richthoven family. All three sisters become combatants in the war.
Josef Soyuz--Katerina's adoptive brother and a Soviet fighter ace of the war.
Gustav Adler--Reimar Ritter's wingmate and love interest to Dora.
J.J. Condorcet--American pilot and spy, who has a rivalry/love interest with Mika.
Thomas Morrow--American infantry soldier and one of J.J.'s special operatives.
Bullard Maulidi--American "Tuskegee Airman" and rival to Dora.
Julian Siddeley--Son of Tyrus Siddeley (Wolfgang's WW1 rival) and R.A.F./R.C.A.F. fighter pilot, rival of Reimar.
You'll find more information in the "Tigers And Beyond" forum. I'll link to the more informative threads in further posts.

| Funny...the search for information to answer your question brought me to Diamond Distributors--and the news-to-me of the impending release of World War Two: 1946 in Pocket Manga format!

| Sweet! Thanks for the info and links! Sounds like some stuff I read in stuff like "Sergeant Rock," and Pulp WWII magazines that featured stuff like "Nazi Superscience," and the race to stop some crazy Nazi plot involving a new superweapon.

| The stuff in LW:'46 will really grab you, then. Reverse-engineered flying saucers. Amerika bombers. Laser-armed Horten flying wings. Giant robots. Super-submarines. Lots of weird science.

| I'll be picking up a copy! If it's superscience in an age gone by, it's right up my alley!
